Someone recently asked me to explain how I came up with the name of my business: The Jade Tree Bridge.
So, let’s start with the word “jade.” First: The jade plant is a feng shui remedy that attracts wealth and prosperity. Second: In ancient times, Chinese jade was considered a precious stone imbued with both mystical power as well as healing properties. Third: “Jade” happens to be part of my Chinese name, so how could I not include it? 😊
The word “tree” honors the Tree of Life, a symbol of strength, wisdom, and longevity in many cultures. While the “bridge” is a reference to how I help you bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to go, transitioning from an old way of being to a new level of consciousness.
Fun fact: When I was redesigning my logo several years ago, I discovered that there is a Jade Belt Bridge in the “Garden of Perfect Clarity” at the Emperor’s Summer Palace in Beijing, China (see photo above). Perhaps I’ll visit it some day.
